‘Chitrakoota believes in education for self-dependence, preparing not just for school, but for life.’
Though Chitrakoota Kaushalya shall follow the CBSE curriculum, it will have a distinctly broad view of a child’s natural inclination and potential. It understands teaching to be an art in itself. The methodology that is going to be adopted is one that would allow the inherent skills of children to bloom effortlessly. There would be no forced set pattern.
Kaushalya proposes to adhere to the modern approach in educational research and child psychology. It envisages maximum student outreach. The students will engage in a way that suits them best. An innovative coaching manner would make a lot of difference to the process of learning and understanding concepts. Research pilot projects have shown how Kaushalya’s aim to provide children a solid foundation for life can be successfully implemented.
Research has also shown that not everybody learns in the same way. Some students prefer experiments, some like lectures, some like to analyse and make hypotheses while some like to feel and experience things for themselves. The primary philosophy behind Kaushalya is that of different learning styles. A traditional classroom, with its set ‘chalk and talk’ methods, is ill-equipped to cater to a variety of learners.
We at Chitrakoota Kaushalya School strive to ensure that children develop a sense of time - honoured wisdom and awareness, laying a solid foundation for their future success.
